You are finally getting to take the trip of a lifetime and go on a safari. The big question is what you need to make sure you pack and bring with you. One of the main things that you should make sure you bring is a camera and plenty of film. What else you should bring depends on where you are going and how long you are going to be gone. Here are some general things that you should consider taking with you.
No matter where you go or for how long, you should make sure that you have a medicine kit. The kit should contain medicines for pain, vomiting, fever, dehydration and any other minor health problems. You should also make sure that you have insect repellant and creams to help stop the itch if you get bit, antiseptic lotion, sun tan lotion, and band-aids. You should also include any medications you are taking, a list of any medical conditions, and contact number for your physician, and family members.
When it comes to clothes, you should pack lightweight and casual clothes such as shorts, pants, short and long sleeve shirts, tee shirts, and a jacket. There will be places you can wash your clothes so you do not need clothes for the total length of your journey. You should consider some type of hat to protect you from the sun, sport shoes or boots, and heavy socks. You should also have a watch, and binoculars.
